This page is dedicated to Fanfiction. I guess I should explain what a fan-fic is right? Okay, I'll try. Fanfictions are stories written by the fans of the show. Their own characters, pairings, and plots mingling with the original characters of the show. There are many fanfictions out there. And just as many people who write them, myself being one of them. There are certain terms one must know if one is to survive in the fanfiction world.
Terms
Okay, let's start with the basics. You will see alot of 'pairing' terms when either reading or writing fanfiction. So let's cover those first.
There are many ways to signify a pairing in a story. There is the 'x' method. Say you were writing a Yu YU Hakusho story with a Kurama OC pairing, then it would look something like this.
Example: KuramaxOC
That is the 'x' method as I call it. There are others as well though. There is the name combination method.
Example: Zutara
That would mean the story has a Zuko Katara pairing in it. And then there is the plain old, 'no-spaces' technique.
Example: KuramaOC
That is all the methods of pairing terms I know at the moment, more will likely come as time goes on.
